As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the IEEE ITSC 2020 General Chair together with the IEEE ITS Society have jointly decided to hold the entire 23rd IEEE ITSC 2020 conference as a fully online conference, at the same dates as planned (20-23 September 2020). This decision has been taken, as it is strongly believed that this is the safest and lowest-risk choice for all participants. All regular sessions, special sessions, workshops, keynotes, ceremonies and side events (including training seminars as well as social events) will be held online, both in real-time as well as on-demand, to accommodate the different time zones of all participants. The IEEE ITSC 2020 committee is already planning accordingly, to ensure an interactive and engaging online event. Publications are not affected by the new online conference format, as all accepted papers will be published in IEEE Xplore. Registration fees will be significantly reduced, as a result of the above. More details on all the above will be provided in the next few weeks.
